Brejning Church was inaugurated in 1967 as a parish church and institutional church – a branch of the Gauerslund Church. Architect Mogens Koch has designed church, altar silver and altar candlestick, the altar carpet, alter piece, the pulpit as well as benches and side room furniture.
Of particular interest is the beautiful, classical simplicity of the church. The outside wall ín front of the church is decorated with Arne Jacobsen lamps. Inside the church, you will find 6 PH (Poul Henningsen) lamps of the so-called “cone” design. The organ was specially designed for this church and has an almost sculptural effect. The brick floor of the church has been laid to form an aisle. |
