The sculptor Robert Jacobsen has reshaped the former gravel pit in Tørskind to a sculpture park in association with his former student, sculptor Jean Clareboudt.
Four of the sculptures are made by Egtved’s honorary citizen Robert Jacobsen, five by Jean Clareboudt. The sculptures are made in concrete, iron, rock and wood and must bee seen as a package that communicates with nature.
The theme of the landscape sculpture is the sun’s path over the sky in the course of a day. The light dramatically enters into dialogue with the sculptures. Therefore, the landscape sculpture will look different depending on the time of the day and the time of the year.
The landscape sculpture, one of its kind in Europe, was inaugurated in 1991.
Open all year.
Brochures available in Danish, German, English and French.
Toilets available. |
