As a general rule, national regulations concerning closed seasons and minimum landing sizes also apply to angling in the Vejle region. However, there are exceptions.
Angling is generally permitted everywhere in the Vejle inlet with the exception of the following protected areas: From the estuary of the Vejle Å to the Vejle Bridge and the estuaries of Tirsbæk, Rohden, Rosenvold and Hede rivers.
The angling rights for most rivers, lakes and ponds belong exclusively to riparian owners or private or local public angling associations respectively. Angling restrictions apply most places. Information on national angling licenses, local angling permits, closed seasons, and minimum landing sizes are available from local angling associations.
