The angling lakes of the Vejle region brim with snap-happy trout. Some also offer stocks of trout, roach, bream, salmon and eel. Put & take angling permits can be purchased at the lake, and apart from Fårup Sø, a state-issued national angling licence is not required.

Givskud Lystfiskesø
The 8,000 m2 angling lake has a depth of between one-and-a-half and four metres. Picnic tables and benches by the lake. A disabled-friendly public toilet. The service centre provides fish cleaning facilities and there is no catch limit.

Jelling Put & Take
The 5,000 m2 spring water lake south of Jelling (by Fårup Sø) features picnic tables, a shelter, a public toilet, and a BBQ and fish cleaning facility. There is no catch limit and the lake is open all year round.

Lystfiskerparadiset, Egtved
The four put & take lakes northwest of Egtved are all spring water lakes. One is a family-friendly lake. Picnic tables, benches and a kiosk. Fish cleaning facility, a public toilet with wash basin and access to drinking water. No catch limit.

Præsteengsøerne Natur Put & Take, Give
Located south of Give, the six put & take lakes offer varied water depth. Picnic tables, benches, and a BBQ and fish cleaning facility in addition to a disabled-friendly public toilet and wash basin. There is access to drinking water.

Refsgård Lystfiskesøer, Egtved
The four spring water lakes north of Egtved include a family-friendly lake. Angling includes a stretch of the Egtved Å river. Picnic tables, benches and BBQ facilities. Disabled-friendly public toilet and a kiosk. No catch limits.

Sivbæk Fiskesø, Gadbjerg
The 7,500 m2 lake between Gadbjerg and Vandel has a depth of up to five metres. Picnic tables, benches, a BBQ facility and fish cleaning table. Disabled-friendly public toilet, playground. No catch limits. Open all year round.

Vester Mølle Put & Take Sø, Give
The three lakes northeast of Give comprise a 25,000 m2 natural lake, a 6,500 m2 new lake and a family-friendly lake. Picnic tables and BBQ facilities. Disabled-friendly public toilet, wash basin and access to drinking water. No catch limit.

Engelsholm Sø (lake)
Located northwest of Bredsten. The spring water lake is very clear and is the source of the Vejle Å river. Boat hire, picnic tables and benches. Wheelchair ramp. Limited daily access.

Fårup Sø (lake)
Located south of Jelling, this spring water lake is very clear and the source of Grejs Å river. The lake is stocked primarily with perch. Boats for hire. Picnic tables, benches and a kiosk. A state-issued national angling licence is required.
