Ballesbækgård Visitor's Centre

The Ballesbækgård Visitor’s Centre, located by the southern shore of Rørbæk Lake, features exhibitions on natural history, nature preservation and the environment. Tours of the area can be arranged with ranger Torben Bøgeskov, Tel.: +45 7580 0007. 

Access the visitor’s centre via Vester Church near Vesterlund. Toilets, a disabled toilet, campfire sites, BBQ facilities and picnic tables with benches are available.    

You can wander around the lake area via a network of marked trails and pathways, including a trail for the disabled. The trails cross heaths, hedgerows and rolling oak forests. They wind along the Ballesbæk stream and along the shores of Rørbæk Lake, offering a magnificent view of the lake towards Vandø and Kælderbanke.   

Angling is permitted from the Ballesbækgård lakeshore and is free of charge.
