Frederikshåb Mill Park is situated in a beautiful area full of trees, bushes and an abundance of flowers near the “Torgunsminde” farm. The owners, Inga and Gunnar Nielsen, started constructing the mill in the mid 90s and the work soon became very comprehensive.
Today, the mill park has nine wind mills and two water mills built of fir and larch.
The mills are half the height of the mills used as models. Several of the wind mills are large enough to walk into and two of them have fully functional grain grinders. The water wheels are also fully functional.
In a small woodland hut, you can enjoy your packed lunch and see a small exhibition about the mill project. The place also offers a banqueting room large enough for 70 people. |
