Thommysminde is a former family farm with horses and goats. The garden with campfire and barbecue area features a specially designed playground for adults and children alike, a soccer field and beach volleyball court. There is fast free WiFi.
Thommysminde offers brand new disabled-friendly rooms of different sizes with space for families of all sizes. The rooms offer a small kitchenette and dining area. Breakfast can be enjoyed in the rooms or in the large communal space complete with kitchen. The communal kitchen where you can store food and beverages is open to all guests. Toilets and bathrooms are located right outside the rooms.
Thommysminde is located close to a wide range of indoor as well as outdoor experiences. The community centre Byens Hus in Jelling offers a wealth of concerts. And if you’re looking for a treetop challenge then Vingsted Zipline – Denmark's longest twin zipline (only in July and August) - is recommended. Also offering treetop climbing, Gorilla Park Vejle features experience for the whole family. Skærup Zoo lets you get close to the animals. You can experience the Iron Age at Vingsted Historic Workshop. The Ecolarium science and adventure centre offers learning about nature, the environment and energy. And you can discover Denmark’s largest inland heath, Randbøl Hede, and learn about its inspiring history at the Kirstinelyst visitor centre. You can also explore the beautifully renovated Vejle Art Museum that features etchings by Rembrandt in addition to Danish art. Pay a visit to Vejle and experience inspiring urban designs by leading architects, including the residential complex Bølgen, the Vejle Music Theatre and the shopping centre Bryggen. Thommysminde is located in an area of heritage with castles and manors, including Brandbjerg Manor, Engelsholm Castle, Tirsbæk Castle and Haraldskær Manor, which all have exciting stories to tell. Visit the sculpture town of Give and experience art that adds life and atmosphere to the town. Once a gravel pit, Tørskind Grusgrav is today an inspiring sculpture park.

Stable rent per horse: DKK 250 per day. Hay can be purchased.
