Jellings Kongeetape
The town of Jelling is included in many of Vejle’s super routes. "Jellings Kongeetape" (Jelling’s queen stage) takes you further west and through the scenic ice age landscape at Åst Bjerge. The route is 55 km with 550 metres of total ascent.
The route also passes the two lakes of Fårup Sø and Engelsholm Sø and offers great views. The start and finish lines are by the UNESCO World Heritage Jelling Monuments, which will be a focal point when the Tour de France visits Vejle in 2022.
To include the best hill locations in the area, the route crosses itself three places.
