Facts about the Coast to Coast Trail in the Vejle region

  

Length: The entire route is approximately 140 kilometers, divided into 12 stages. Four of these stages pass through the Vejle region

Surface: Paved roads and gravel paths

Seasons: Spring, Summer (you can hike the trail year-round, but parts of the trail may be flooded during heavy rainfall)

Wet sections

It is recommended to bring rubber boots. During very rainy periods, some sections may become impassable due to high water levels in the river valleys, and it may be necessary to find alternative routes.

On the section between Broeng and Bordrup near Ho Bugt, you should be very cautious if there are storm surge warnings.

Dogs are not allowed

Between the towns of Bække and Varde, unfortunately, you are not allowed to bring a dog, as you will pass through many enclosures with grazing animals.

On the section that goes through the Vejle region, you are allowed to bring a dog.

Parking along the route

It is easy to find a parking spot in Vejle. Some parking spaces are free, while others require payment. Always read the signage carefully before leaving your car.
