Dogs on the beach
If you bring your dog to the beach, you should be aware of the rules that apply there.
Please note that dogs are not allowed to swim in the sea at all beaches. Beaches with the Blue Bathing Water Flag do not allow dogs to swim, while beaches with the White Bathing Water Flag do.
During the summer season, from 1 April to 30 September, dogs must be kept on a leash when you are on the beach. During the winter season, from 1 October to 31 March, dogs may be let off the leash. However, please note that this does not apply at all beaches, so keep an eye on signs in the area.
