Historic Vejle

In Vejle, you can travel back to ancient times when the Viking ruled Jelling, Iron Age people farmed in Vingsted, the Egtved Girl was buried in a Bronze Age barrow and when cattle drivers roamed the Ancient Road.

Halloween events this autumn

As tradition has it, you can once again experience the big Halloween show in central Vejle this Halloween. City Vejle repeats the success and hosts HALLOWEEN FOR KIDS in the city centre the day after 31 October, with a children’s parade and spooky activities.

HALLOWEEN IN VEJLE – parade and show

On 30 October, you can once again experience the big Halloween show with a parade, spooky decorations and activities in Vejle’s pedestrian street. The Halloween parade on Friday starts in Vestergade at 5.30 pm and ends at Søndertorv together with Copenhagen Drummers. The shops are open until 9 pm, so there is time to shop or grab a bite to eat after the show.

HALLOWEEN FOR KIDS

On 31 October, children can join Musik & Kulturskolen’s Halloween parade for spooky and dressed-up children, along with lots of frightfully fun activities at Rådhustorvet in Vejle.

DYSTOPIA HAUNTED HOUSE

This year’s DYSTOPIA HAUNTED HOUSE has the theme “Judgement – Face Yourself” and takes place from 11 September to 14 November 2026 in Mørkedalen in Vejle.

In the interactive horror maze with more than 50 scary and shocking rooms, eerie actors await in wild costumes and special effects make-up, along with sound and light effects, sets and installations. There are three different horror levels: SCARY, INTENSE and EXTREME.

Tours are available in both Danish and English at the different levels.
