Harvest market with Museum Give

On Saturday 5 September, you can experience Give’s annual harvest market from 10 am to 4 pm.

When the market opens, you can explore a wide range of exciting stalls with food, ceramics, jewellery, leather goods, willow weaving and much more. Don’t miss the activities for children and the young at heart at the museum.

Harvest market at Tinnetgaard

This year’s organic harvest market and plant market at Tinnetgaard takes place on 5–6 September from 10 am to 4 pm.

Enjoy the day with a visit to the inspiration garden, the farm shop and, not least, plenty of children’s activities. You can bring the children along for animal feeding, egg carton bingo, potato sack races, potato crafts and much more.

Car boot sale and other events at Haughus Gods

This autumn, you will find several events at Haughus Gods near Jelling. In September and October, you can join:

  • 5–6 September: Car boot sale
  • 20 September: Motorcycle meet
  • 10–11 October: 12th birthday celebration

Autumnal trips in nature with Økolariet

During autumn, Økolariet hosts various exciting events and guided tours in nature. Participation is free, but some tours require registration and have a limited number of spots.

  • 13 September: Carnivorous plants and marsh gentian at Skærsø
  • 10 October: Mushroom tour in Munkebjerg Forest
  • 11 October: Great Mushroom Day – close to the fungi at Økolariet
  • 12 October: Discover creepy-crawly insects at Økolariet
  • 13 October: Deer in rut in Dyrehaven in Vejle and a family mushroom tour in Tykhøjet Krat
  • 14 October: Discover creepy-crawly insects at Økolariet
  • 8 November: Birdlife at Kongens Kær

GIVSKUD ZOO Run

Join the very first GIVSKUD ZOO Run on 13 September at 9 am through the park, where you can experience the wildlife in a whole new way.

It is a run for the whole family, with the option to run 3.5 km or 5 km. The race starts at the main entrance, and refreshments will be available when you cross the finish line.

During the autumn, you can also experience Katrine Bille Band on 6 September, the harvest market on 26–27 September and autumn holiday activities. See more via the link below.

Jelling Viking Run

On 26 September at 10 am, you can run or walk in this year’s Jelling Viking Run through the monument area, town and forest in Jelling.

The start and finish will be on the forecourt by Kongernes Jelling.

Tree walk at Museum Give

Join a tree walk at Museum Give on 7 October 2026. On a walk through town and forest, you’ll get to know the green giants around us. Learn to tell the difference between deciduous and coniferous trees and the many different tree species found in Denmark. It might open up a whole new world as we look at the diversity and connections in nature.

The tour starts at 4:15 pm with a cup of tea or coffee at the museum. The tour is recommended for ages 10+ and the walk lasts about 1.5 hours. Remember to wear good walking shoes that can handle a bit of dirt.

The tour is free.

Music at Fary Lochan: RunRig Tribute Band

On 7 November 2026, the RunRig Tribute Band returns to the stage at Fary Lochan. The popular band played to sold-out audiences in 2022 and 2024 – and now you can experience them again.
