Treetop climbing is a great shared experience for adults and children of all ages. In the beautiful woods of Nørreskov – close to Vejle and not far from the Dyrehaven deer park and Skyttehuset – you find Gorilla Park Vejle, a treetop adventure park with 7 individual obstacle courses.

In Skærup Zoo, you can experience more than 100 different animal species. You’ll get up close to playful monkeys, dangerous jaguars, and adorable baby animals. On the playground, children can have fun or pet the sweet goats in the petting area.

Visit the museum, which takes you on a time travel through the 3 exhibitions; The heath farmers farm, The street of commerce and craftsmanship and the Village School. The museum is an attractive destination for families with children. In addition to the museum's wonderful exhibitions and ongoing child-friendly activities both inside and outside, you can enjoy a cup of coffee and cake or an ice cream in the museum's café and let the children play outside in the apple grove or on the nearby forest playground.

The Forest Nørreskoven with the Deer Park - Dyrehaven - is one of the area's most visited forests. Here in the very versatile piece of nature with large beech trees, you are invited to enjoy many outdoor experiences. Enjoy a stroll in the deer park, see the forest from above in the treetop climbing park, Gorilla Park Vejle, or challenge yourself on  obstacle course near the sports college, Vejle Idrætshøjskole.

The old grocer's shop, Bindeballe Købmandsgård, is today a combined merchant museum and general grocery store. Both inside and outside, the signs, exhibits and fixtures remind us of its history.
