Tree walks
Join an exciting tree walk in the Vejle area as the guide takes you through forest and town to learn about the green giants around us. Here you can learn to recognise the many fascinating trees found in Danish nature. Join a free walk on the following dates:

Music, summer tours and whisky tasting at Fary Lochan
Throughout the summer, you can enjoy great music, whisky tastings and summer tours at the whisky distillery in Farre.
On Friday, 5 June 2026, Fary Lochan will welcome the musical trio Culchie, performing traditional Irish songs. Enjoy well-known pub songs, romantic ballads, fun drinking songs and swinging tunes – there’s something for everyone.
From Monday 13 July to Saturday 8 August, you can sign up for two daily tours from Wednesday to Saturday at 10:00 and 13:00. The tour lasts approximately 1.5 hours. You can read more about menus and prices via the link.
The World of the Egtved Girl is opening!
On June 6 at 11:00 AM, the brand-new experience universe Egtved Girl’s World will open in Egtved, near Vejle. The new museum project will tell the story of the Egtved Girl right where she was laid to rest 3,500 years ago.
The celebration begins with music, a glimpse into the Bronze Age featuring crafts, clothing, and wool spinning, and much more. Admission is free.
Vejle MADfest (food festival)
On Saturday, June 6, you can once again take part in Vejle’s official food festival.
Local producers and restaurants are celebrated across Vejle’s three central squares – Søndertorv, Rådhustorvet and Nørretorv. Experience Vejle’s food scene as you taste, smell, and explore your way through the many stalls throughout the city centre. It all starts at 10 AM.

Vingsted Iron Age market
This year’s Iron Age market in Vingsted takes place on Saturday 13 and Sunday 14 June 2026 at Vingsted Iron Age. Join in as more than 100 participants and volunteers come together to create one of the country’s coziest Iron Age markets with crafts, food, children’s activities and much more.

On 31 July 2026, you can experience the cycling race PostNord Danmark Rundt in Vejle. Each year, the Danish professional road race visits Vejle. Since 2004, Kiddesvej in Vejle has played a decisive role in the Queen Stage when the overall winner is determined.

Rock i Byparken concerts
On 14, 21 and 28 August 2026, you can experience Rock in the City Park.
This year’s line-up includes Malte Ebert, Poul Krebs, Sofie1998, Gilli, Infernal, Kind mod Kind, Dizzy Mizz Lizzy, Zar Paulo and Soleima. Food and drinks are available for purchase in the park.
Vejle Fjordfestival
On 29 and 30 August 2026, the Vejle Fjord Festival takes place at Vejle’s harbour front. Two fun-filled days for the whole family with water activities, international street theatre, concerts, children’s activities, delicious street food and much more. Activities and art are spread across the fjord, along The Wave, at Vejle Marina and all the way to Fjordenhus.
