Summer in Vejle

Throughout the summer, you can enjoy whisky tastings and summer tours at the whisky distillery in Farre.

From Monday 13 July to Saturday 8 August, you can sign up for two daily tours from Wednesday to Saturday at 10:00 and 13:00. The tour lasts approximately 1.5 hours. You can read more about menus and prices via the link.

This year’s Iron Age market in Vingsted takes place on Saturday 13 and Sunday 14 June 2026 at Vingsted Iron Age. Join in as more than 100 participants and volunteers come together to create one of the country’s coziest Iron Age markets with crafts, food, children’s activities and much more.

Throughout the summer, GIVSKUD ZOO offers exciting events for the whole family. During the summer you can experience:

Mark your calendar for 2–4 July, when this year’s street art festival takes place in Vejle. This year, it will be held around the junction of Havnegade and Danmarksgade. Experience artists from the USA, Mexico, Morocco and many other countries as gables, walls and the railway bridge are transformed into colourful works of art. Experience community spirit and live music in beautiful surroundings with a true summer atmosphere.

On 31 July 2026, you can experience the cycling race PostNord Danmark Rundt in Vejle. Each year, the Danish professional road race visits Vejle. Since 2004, Kiddesvej in Vejle has played a decisive role in the Queen Stage when the overall winner is determined.

On 14, 21 and 28 August 2026, you can experience Rock in the City Park.

This year’s line-up includes Malte Ebert, Poul Krebs, Sofie1998, Gilli, Infernal, Kind mod Kind, Dizzy Mizz Lizzy, Zar Paulo and Soleima. Food and drinks are available for purchase in the park.

On 29 and 30 August 2026, the Vejle Fjord Festival takes place at Vejle’s harbour front. Two fun-filled days for the whole family with water activities, international street theatre, concerts, children’s activities, delicious street food and much more. Activities and art are spread across the fjord, along The Wave, at Vejle Marina and all the way to Fjordenhus.
