The World of the Egtved Girl is opening!
This summer, the brand-new experience universe “Egtvedpigens Verden” opens near Egtved, close to Vejle. The new museum project tells the story of the Egtved Girl at the very place where she was laid to rest 3,500 years ago.

Vejle MADfest
On Saturday, 6 June, you can once again take part in Vejle’s official food festival.
Local producers and restaurants are celebrated across Vejle’s three central squares – Søndertorv, Rådhustorvet and Nørretorv. Experience Vejle’s food scene as you taste, smell and explore the many stalls throughout the city centre. It all starts at 10 am.

PostNord Danmark Rundt in Vejle
On 31 July 2026, you can experience the cycling race PostNord Danmark Rundt in Vejle. Each year, the Danish professional road race visits Vejle. Since 2004, Kiddesvej in Vejle has played a decisive role in the Queen Stage when the overall winner is determined.

Rock i Byparken concerts
On 14, 21 and 28 August 2026, you can experience Rock in the City Park.
This year’s line-up includes Malte Ebert, Poul Krebs, Sofie1998, Gilli, Infernal, Kind mod Kind, Dizzy Mizz Lizzy, Zar Paulo and Soleima. Food and drinks are available for purchase in the park.

Vejle Fjordfestival
On 29 and 30 August 2026, the Vejle Fjord Festival takes place at Vejle’s harbour front. Two fun-filled days for the whole family with water activities, international street theatre, concerts, children’s activities, delicious street food and much more. Activities and art are spread across the fjord, along The Wave, at Vejle Marina and all the way to Fjordenhus.
